The head of the Ministry of Construction of Yakutia, Viktor Romanov, and the Minister of Education, Nyurguna Sokolova, yesterday checked the progress of the construction of a boarding school in the Tatinsky district.
The building, which consists of two blocks, is being built under the national project “Education”. The first pitch of the school was solemnly laid on April 15 last year. According to the press service of the Ministry of Construction, the facility is being built to replace the old emergency building.
The building will house four classrooms for 25 students, a dining room, a workshop, a home economics office, a procedure and vaccination room, reception doctors, a school psychologist and a social worker, biology, chemistry, physics and astronomy laboratories. There will also be a library with a reading room, sports and assembly halls, language classrooms, computer classes, a painting and drawing studio, and an elevator.
According to the project, the dormitory, designed for 100 places, will have four-person bedrooms, rooms for self-training, rooms for storing personal belongings, a kitchen and a laundry room.
Today, work is underway in the building on arranging the facade, installation of engineering communications, interior decoration, laying of a soft roof. In addition, the contractor is currently engaged in the installation of the elevator, warming of the tanks and improvement of the territory. The walls will be painted by hand in the building, the draft drawings have already been approved. The Aital design group will paint the walls.
The new Tatin school building for 450 places with a dormitory for 100 places should be put into operation by the end of the year. It is noted that the facility will be used for accommodation and catering for the participants of the Manchaari Games, which will be held next year.
