NEFU held a career orientation event for schoolchildren of the Khangala Ulus

A presentation of the activities of the leading university of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) – the North-Eastern Federal University named after M.K. Amosov. The career orientation event was held to help students decide on their future place of study and profession.

As noted by V.A. Head of the Gangala District Education Department, Nadei Skrabin, career orientation events are a unique opportunity for school graduates to orient themselves in the directions of training and the upcoming admission procedure.

– Day of the NEFU named after M.K. Amosava took place in the Khangala ulus, and was attended by representatives of 16 institutes and faculties, as well as the Central University Admissions Committee. Graduates of the 11th grade of educational organizations of the Gangala Ulus heard actual information about the institutes and faculties of the NEFU, passing scores, and the possibility of receiving additional points for individual achievements, she noted.

During the presentation, the leading specialists of the university told the schoolchildren about the main areas of scientific and international activity of the university, educational programs, student life and about the ADE scores required for admission to the NEFU. M.K. Amosov.

Specialist in educational and methodological work of the Central Admissions Committee of the NEFU named after M.K. Amosova Lyubov Zhirkova noted the keen interest of schoolchildren. “Professional counselors from all institutes and faculties of our university spoke in detail about training directions, curricula and opportunities provided by our university. The children, in turn, asked a lot of questions about employment prospects after studying at the university and were actively interested in the most popular specialties,” she said.

Representatives of the Central Admissions Committee also spoke about the features of the 2025 admissions campaign, deadlines for submitting documents, changes in admissions rules, the Gangala District Education Office reports.
