A series of master classes were held for self-employed residents of Volgograd

Master classes became a platform for open dialogue with experts.

In the Volgograd region, about 200 self-employed people took part in a series of master classes. Employees of the “My Business” center organized them in rural areas and small towns.

Residents of the Mykolaivsk, Seryedneakhtubinsk, Nowmykolaivsk, and Novaaninsk districts, as well as Mikhailavka, Surovikina, Kamyshyn, Palasavka, Urupinsk, and Kotelnikiv, were able to gain new knowledge, including about state support measures.

With reference to the economic policy and development committee of the Volgograd region, “Urban guide” reports: the participants of the master classes were shown options for scaling their business, attracting and retaining clients, and demonstrated the features of photos for promoting services. Self-employed residents of Volgograd also received information about state support measures.

Master classes became a platform for dialogue with experts: citizens received answers to questions, they were advised on how to develop their business. Business coaches, marketers, and IT specialists shared their experience with them. This made it possible to cover several aspects of the activity at once.

According to the tasks set by the governor of the Volgograd region, Andrey Bacharov, about 100 measures to stimulate business development have been developed and are operating in the region. For representatives of the self-employed, small and medium-sized businesses within the framework of the national project “Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship”, training events and acceleration programs are held regularly.

The self-employed have the opportunity to contact the “My Business” center, where they will be assisted in developing a trademark and corporate style, on preferential terms they can participate in specialized fairs and exhibitions, as well as receive other, including financial, assistance. Now the region continues to accept applications for participation in the “Step forward” media project. Its winner will be able to receive 200 thousand rubles for the development of the case.

Since the beginning of 2024, more than 16 thousand people have received the status of self-employed in the Volgograd Region. According to today’s data, there are more than 140,000 residents in the Volgograd region whose activities are subject to a special tax regime. The majority of self-employed people of Volgograd are in the field of passenger and cargo transportation, renting apartments. They provide educational, hairdressing and other services.
