The educational research laboratory for “Basalt SPO” products was opened at the aviation technical school named after V.A. Kazakov in the city of Zhukovskiy, Moscow Region, “Basalt SPO” reports on Monday.
In the laboratory, students of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th courses of the “Network and System Administration” specialty will learn the operation of operating systems on the Linux kernel in practice. Using the example of the OS of the “Alt” family, they will learn how to deploy, configure and operate the organization’s IT infrastructure. Here, students will be able to undergo production practice, prepare course and diploma projects, and engage in research, the report says.
Professional training is based on the authorized courses of “Basalt SPO”. The “Alt Academy” project team, together with the pedagogical IT community, constantly updates and improves the content of the courses.
The development of courses takes into account the requests of employers and partners, the content of the main educational program of secondary professional education and work programs of the professional module “Network and System Administration”.
The head of the laboratory was Andrey Kuropatkin – a technical school teacher, certified for the right to conduct training according to the programs of the authorized training courses “Administration of OS “Alt”. Part 1-2″.
On the basis of the laboratory, in addition to the main curriculum, it is planned to hold career guidance classes for high school students and demonstration exams.
“Basalt VPZ” is developing a training system for users of “Alt” operating systems and system administrators within the “Alt Academy” project. Previously, a similar laboratory was opened at the Nagin College in the Moscow region, the company notes.
