During the week, about 60 energy workers from all over the Novosibirsk region eliminated the conditional accident. According to the conditions of the exercises, a technological violation occurred in the active section of the power grid due to the passage of a complex of adverse weather phenomena. Conditional bad weather allegedly led to trees leaning against overhead power lines, damaging wires, insulators and supports. These are common enough consequences for winter, so the training legend was as close as possible to real conditions.
As part of the exercises, not only the procedure of emergency recovery teams was worked out, but also the readiness of equipment for various types of work was checked. In addition to standard brigade vehicles, mobile cranes, mobile cranes, drilling and crane machines and mulchers (special wood shredders) were used. A total of 25 units of equipment were involved.
To ensure the safety of employees, many works could only be carried out on a truly de-energized line, as during a real emergency. And for back-up power supply of disconnected consumers, the company “Rosseti Novosibirsk” used a mobile generator with a capacity of 400 kva.
For the stable operation of the region’s power grid complex in the harsh conditions of the Siberian winter, the power industry has already completed all the necessary organizational and technical measures and fully prepared electrical installations for winter. However, as long as the weather conditions allow, and winter has not yet fully come into its own, it was decided to carry out part of the maintenance work on power grids, provided by the production program for the next year 2025, in parallel with the exercises.
During the training, the company’s employees replaced about 25 racks, 30 traverses and 90 insulators on the supports of the transmission line, pulled the wire in 16 spans of the transmission line with a voltage class of 10 kV. In addition, specialists replaced the linear disconnector. In other words, on the eve of the winter cold, “Rosseti Novosibirsk” worked ahead of time to improve the quality and reliability of electricity supply for residents of nearby villages and settlements – Syadova Zaimka, Bibiha, Sasnovka, Kubavaya and Zeleny Mys.
